Tonight, we celebrated Grandpa's birthday.  My aunt came over with a cake, and he entertained us for a good hour with the story of his life.  He spent about twenty minutes talking about cucumbers, and that made me smile. :)

Otherwise, today was pretttty low key.

I'm back!

I really don't have a ton to say...we went up north, and camping...again...it was canoe camping, which was...er, interesting. Different. The canoeing wasn't all that bad, actually - just wet. Ummmm. This is me saying I'll be gone until Wednesday. My family's going **up north**  (those little stars = sparkles). I don't know why I feel obliged to announce that, but I do.

So - Spain won. The WORLD CUP. Yeah, I know - awesome. Unless you were cheering for the Netherlands...(why???) which I wasn't. So I have the right to cheer. Go Spain.

I spent the last three days at my grandpa's cottage, with my family...it was okay. The water was really, really rough, so we couldn't do anything. I spent over half the time tanning, not even kidding. Tanning and reading tabliod magazines. The price of this? My shoulders are burnt. x( It's not too bad though.

So bored. Getting to the point where it's not even funny. If summer wastes away, I'm going to be really, really...pissed off. Yeah.

I have to miss swim for the next two days. :( That makes me rather sad...You see, I had to get a mole removed. Like, nothing bad or anything - I'm fine; it was one of those "just-in-case-because-you-really-don't-want-melanoma" things - but the doctor told me I'm supposed to keep the stitches dry for at least two days.
